COPD: Signs and Symptoms




Dr. Javier Perez-Fernandez, Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine Physician with Baptist Hospital and West Kendall Baptist Hospital, points out Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) can make simple things like moving around and going up stairs very difficult for a patient, because they are coughing constantly.

Some of the COPD symptoms are chronic or smoker’s cough, chronic phlegm production, shortness of breath and wheezing.
