Two new drugs, monoclonal antibodies that must be given by infusion, have had remarkable success in reducing hospitalizations and deaths by 60- 70 percent in COVID-19 patients, according to Mayo Clinic research. The drugs are being used under an emergency use authorization by the FDA.
