Tanya Patron

Geriatrics, radiology, psychiatry are other subspecialties that can be
attended by a Physical Assistant, says Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery.

She explains she does the happy side of medicine. “It’s nice and an easy job,” she says.

Rotation into many specialties is the best thing to become a P.A. Coolsculpting machine is a little refrigerator with a computer on top,
describes Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic
Surgery.

She explains Coolsculpting is used to make a contour around the
different parts of the body that the physician is going to treat.

The P.A. also explains how other machine accessories work. Not everybody is a candidate for Coolsculpting, affirms Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery. Patients who have too much body fat or patients who don’t have enough body fat can’t be treated.

Coolsculpting is an alternative for patients who can’t undergo surgery for any medical condition, she says. The most common injectable procedure is botox, according to Tanya
Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery.

Botox is used for multiple different reasons to soften lines and
wrinkles on the face. She explains botox is a neurotoxin, a
neuromodulator that actually attaches to muscle and prevents it from
being hyperactive.

The injectable procedures she uses are made by hyaluronic acid, which
is a component of collagen and inflates the tissue. A Physician Assistant (P.A.) can: take medical histories, conduct
physical exams, diagnose and treat illness, order and interpret tests and develop treatment plans.

The P. A. also can prescribe medicine, perform procedures, assist in
surgery and make rounds in hospitals and nursing homes too.

Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, says the P.A. can give the patients the early appointment time when the
doctor’s schedule is full. Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, says the five-minute nose job is a way to enhance the nose or improve its
contour without surgery.

She explains the effect of the injectable procedure depends on the
part of the body in which the doctor uses it. If it is injected in the
nose, the patient can get up for a year, if it is used in lips, it is
sometimes 6 months and in the tear trough, it can last up to two years. Coolsculpting is very similar to liposuction. Once a patient has a
procedure or treatment, he has to maintain his healthy lifestyle and
have a stable weight before performing the treatment.

Chin area, bra fat, bra sits, inner thighs, upper back, lower back,
the knees and the arms can be Cool sculpted, says anya Patron,
Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery.

She advises always checking the credentials of the physician who does the procedure. Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, says redness and inflammation in the skin are some of the most common skin conditions.

Heidy Urra, Medical Aesthetician with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains she sees sun damage, like pigmentation, rosacea, and broken capillaries.

Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains if patients are taking care of their skin but need some help with wrinkles because there is a limitation with skincare, they can go to a plastic surgery, and vice versa.

She also says they send patients that are going to see plastic surgeons to a skin care routine first to get the most beneficial results. Heidy Urra, Medical Aesthetician with Miami Plastic Surgery, says a facial is a professional skin care treatment to cleanse, exfoliate, do extractions, and customize the treatment depending on their needs.

Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains while you are relaxing the medical aesthetician is looking at your skin and making sure everything is as it should be, and talking to you about what products to use. Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains treatment depends on the severity of the neck. If patients have lines running across the neck (venous rings or necklace), they can use fillers for improving them.
The expert shows Nova threads. She describes it’s a needle which is inserted into a place, like the neck, and when the physician pulls the needle out, and those threads stay in place in the tissue. It’s stimulatory and it can cause collagen and skin tightening.
The collagen takes four to six weeks to become stimulated. The results can last for the next nine months to a year, she says. Cool sculpting can be used for improving the arm and Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains how it improves the area just with one session of cool sculpting.
She explains the norm is two sessions, but if her patients are very fit, one session is enough.
Dr. Max Polo, Plastic Surgeon with Baptist Health South Florida, affirms liposuction is the most common surgical option for treating fat.
The expert explains, with an imaging, how liposuction is performed. Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery, explains with some pictures the before and after of Nova threats.
She explains it helps to pull up the tissue under the lower face and neck and the patient improves after four to six weeks.
The last picture is Dr. Polo, whose fat was reduced under the chin using kybella. This procedure takes the fat cells from the body and removes them permanently. It’s similar to cool sculpting, but it’s a different method, she says. Botox is considered a neuromodulator, which works on the muscle activity alone. Fillers, however, are injected into the skin and are going to fill up a space within the tissue. Fillers increase volume, too. With dermal fillers, people are trying to replace lost volume. There are many options available, which can be customized for each patient, says Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery. She affirms there are more than 15 products in the market, but she only recommends to her patients the fillers, since they would be the best ones to give them those results. Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment, which is used similar to collagen: to tighten up the skin on the lower face and neck lines, explains Tanya Patron, Physician Assistant with Miami Plastic Surgery.
She classifies lasers into two particular categories of lights: one, in which the patient usually wears protective eyewear and other types of devices, that people like to call them lasers but they are not true lasers, such as radio frequency and treatments like ultherapy, the expert describes.
Dr. Max Polo, Plastic Surgeon with Baptist Health South Florida, talks about surgical and non-surgical procedures for neck. He explains they can use sculpting, liposuction and fillers depending on the patient.
