The “Life’s Simple 7”
According to Dr. Ted Feldman, Medical Director of Prevention and Community Health with Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, there are simple seven steps for improving heart disease.
The rules are: managing blood pressure, eating better, controlling cholesterol, losing weight, reducing blood sugar, stopping smoking and getting active.
“Life's simple 7" is a program developed by the American Heart Association in 2010, he says.
