Over 160 foods can cause an allergic reaction in people; some of them are wheat, milk, fish, peanuts, tree nuts and soy.

Natalie Castro, Registered Dietitian at Baptist Health South Florida, says it is important to go through the food label, because it is going to help us to identify where these food items are coming from.

She also points out there are different allergens that are derived from these food allergens.
