South Florida PBS Health Channel and City of Aventura Join Forces to Deliver Valuable Health Information
Miami, FL – South Florida PBS Health Channel is pleased to announce its partnership with the City of Aventura, aimed at providing valuable and credible health information to Aventura residents through the Health Channel’s widget on the City of Aventura’s website.
Created by South Florida PBS, a member station of PBS, the most trusted institution in the United States, the Health Channel is the first TV channel of its kind, offering a uniquely designed concept that connects you with medical and well-being specialists in real-time, promoting healthier lifestyle options. In partnership with prestigious organizations, the service aims to empower you with the most up-to-date information, enabling you to take more control of your and your family’s health.
Aventura, one of Miami-Dade’s newest communities, was incorporated in 1995 and is a young, vibrant, full-service municipality with a diverse demographic base and is recognized internationally as a premier location in which to live, shop and play.
The regularly updated Health Channel widget is now on The City of Aventura’s website and provides short-form Health Channel videos with answers to some of the most common health questions. Each month the widget will observe a different health topic such as Mental Health, Breast Cancer, Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and much more.
“South Florida PBS is thrilled to provide the City of Aventura residents access to reliable and vital health resources. Partnering with the City of Aventura is a significant step towards achieving our mission of promoting health and wellness education throughout South Florida,” stated CEO and President for South Florida PBS, Dolores Fernandez Alonso.
