Shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness, having to clear your throat, and a chronic cough that may produce mucus are some of the symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Dr. Keith Jamal Robinson, Pulmonologist with Baptist Health South Florida, explains you can have just one symptom. “Many patients have been told they have an acute bronchitis. Anybody with a healthy immune system should really expect to have an acute upper respiratory infection.”
