Treating Allergy with Neti Pots |
Dr. Manuel Torres, Family Medicine Physician at Baptist Health Primary Care, says neti pots are important for some people and help them flush out their nasal passage. “It’s important to have a good ENT (ear, nose, throat) evaluation for obstruction, irritation, infection, etc., which is a little bit more elaborate than what most primary care physicians do in their office,” he points out.
He explains if you are going to neti pot yourself it would be a good idea to be sure that your passages are opened, because you may be pushing against something that is physically obstructing.
