Types of Fillers |

Calcium Hydroxylapatite, Hyaluronic Acid, Polyalkylimide and Polylactic Acid are some of the types of fillers. Ileana Perez-Quintairos, Dermatologist at Baptist Health South Florida, explains the most popular products used are the hyaluronic acid.

According to her, hyaluronic acid is a natural ingredient and calcium hydroxyapatite is a mineral found in bone. A PLLA is another product that is also used and it’s an excellent product, but it’s not really a filler, it’s more of a bio stimulator. It is used to stimulate collagen elastin growth.
