While fully vaccinated and boosted people may get the Omicron variant of COVID-19, they likely will not have severe symptoms, according to experts. The infection in the unvaccinated could be quite serious, however. Health leaders also believe COVID vaccines and boosters will be necessary for at least some time in the future.
