Health Benefits of Sleep

Sleep is the way the body recovers from a full day of work, energizes and gets people ready for the next day, affirms Dr. Rolando Molina, Otolaryngologist with Baptist Health South Florida. Technology and devices don’t allow people to fall asleep, Dr. Molina says. The expert says most of studies will say that anywhere between seven and eight hours are the recommended hours of sleep. The doctor points out that the most important thing is not the number of hours, but the hours of quality sleep.
