Age & Skin Changes

Dr. Ileana Perez-Quintairos, Dermatologist with Baptist Health South Florida, explains hair and nails are products of the skin and they also change and get drier as we age. She says the nails get more brittle and thinner, and they develop longitudinal long ridges along the nail plate that can be cosmetically displeasing.
