Pray & Mindfulness

Praying is a major component in people's lives for coping with the whole host of issues and it becomes very important when someone is facing health care concerns, says Rev. Renato Santos, Assistant Vice President of Pastoral Care with Baptist Health South Florida. He says they never impose, but they’re always available. But, in most interactions they have with patients, they ask chaplains to pray with them. He notes sometimes patients and chaplains take each other's hand and pray together.
