Risk Factors of Breast Cancer

Gender, age, inherited certain genes, race, dense breast tissue, and atypical breast lesions are some of the risk factors of breast cancer. Dr. Grace Wang, Medical Oncologist with Miami Cancer Institute, explains one out of 100 cases of breast cancer could be male. About age, she says most women are above 50 when they have breast cancer, but she has many young patients in their 20's and 30's with breast cancer.
