Sun Exposure and Skin Cancer
Dr. Deborah Longwill, Dermatologist with Baptist Health South Florida, explains doctors are finding more skin cancer, because patients are going in and getting treatment. "We are acting quickly and taking care of the cancer much earlier than later."
She also says Florida has a high amount of skin cancer, because people like to do the activities outside and they do not protect the skin from the sun.
