Free-Standing ERs in Miami
Dr. Jose Llach, Medical Director of Free Standing Emergency Department with Baptist Health South Florida, explains people that work in ERs are board certified physicians that train and stabilize any type of medical condition, from head to toes.
He also says the goal is to have three more free-standing ERs in Miami in 2020. They will be providing patients with emergency care, good care, and access to their specialists, like cardiologists.
