Dr. Moises Lustgarten, Pain Management Physician at Baptist Health South Florida, says there is not a specific number of how many injections a patient can have, it will depend on efficacy, but doctors try to do no more than 3 injections in any six-month period.
For them efficacy is when the patient can restart their routine and daily life activities after seeing the results of the injection of steroid in the epidural space.
