Back Pain Injections Procedure

Rafael Bernal, Interventional Radiology Technician with Miami Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, explains the procedure to put an injection in the spine is getting the patient and monitoring the vital signs, having the MRI images and talking about how they are going to do the procedure just to make sure they have the right procedure. He also says the patient is awake, but they give the local anesthetic, so the patient shouldn't feel anything.
