Needing Cardiac Rehab
Dr. Joshua Harris, Cardiologist and Medical Director for Cardiac Rehabilitation at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, says a lot of patients will be referred by their physicians, and not a lot of patients know about cardiac rehab.
He explains patients that have had an intervention with a stent or a balloon angioplasty, for example, should have someone approach them to offer the cardiac rehab program to prevent other events from happening in the future.
