Li-Froumeni Syndrome occurs when different family members get different cancer mainly below 45. Those cancers usually are: sarcoma, breast cancer and leukemia and brain tumor. Dr. Doured Daghistani, Pediatric Oncology with Miami Cancer Institute, says if one of the family members is diagnosed with one of the cancers, the rest of the family can be scanned in order to find some abnormality in an early stage.
