COPD and Exacerbation

Dr. Keith Jamal Robinson, Pulmonologist with Baptist Health South Florida, explains an exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) happens when patients have an increase of phlegm or changing color, or when they have an increase in shortness of breath. He says that unfortunately COPD is not curable, so that is why it is important to mitigate the risks.
