Coping With Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Getting diagnosed with breast cancer could be very difficult. Adrian Cristian, Physiatrist at Miami Cancer Institute, says as a physiatrist it is very important to be part of that person's cancer journey and to provide all the possible services to address that and come at any time during the diagnosis and the treatment. "What we want to do for that person is to really put at their disposal the highest level of expertise to help them cope and deal with those types of issues", he highlights. The patient could be helped by a team of psychologists and social workers if necessary.
