Needing Palliative Care

Dr. Ana Viamonte-Ros, Medical Director, Palliative Care and Bioethics at Baptist Health South Florida, says someone with cancer should start using palliative care immediately in order to be able to help their physician, managing their symptoms physically or psychologically. She explains the patient not only lives with improved quality of life, but also actually lives longer.
