Learning about Kidney Cancer

Dr. Yekutiel Sandman, Urologist with Baptist Health South Florida, says about 65,000 cases of kidney cancer are diagnosed every year and it is one of the top 10 cancers in the population. It is very common. Renal cell carcinoma, transitional cell carcinoma, Wilms tumor and renal sarcoma are the types of kidney cancer. He also explains about 80% of kidney cancers are renal cell carcinomas, and Wilms tumors are more common in children.
