Exercises for Seniors

Dr. Brenda Daniels, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine Physician with Baptist Health South Florida, points out exercise should not be something that is imposed on you like a chore, it should be something you enjoy. She also says for seniors the most important thing is to start slow. "You have to clear it with your doctor that you are able to do a certain type of exercise." She explains a good way to start is to exercise 30 minutes two or three times a week.
