Spirituality is a very broad concept that encompasses religion, but it goes beyond that, explains Rev. Renato Santos, Assistant Vice President of Pastoral Care with Baptist Health South Florida, who adds spirituality makes people different.
He also describes religion is the human effort to make sense to articulate, to give language, to give a forum to what people often don't understand.
Rev. Santos says human beings try to find meaning and purpose.
