Risk Factors Of Osteoporosis

Dr. Deepa Sharma, Family Medicine Physician with Baptist Health Primary Care says osteoporosis can start at younger age for certain high-risk groups. There are some uncontrollable risk factors such as being over age 50, being female, menopause, family history of osteoporosis and not getting enough calcium and vitamin D, she explains.
