Breast Self-exam

Dr. Priyanka Grover, Breast Imaging Radiologist with Baptist Health South Florida, advises her patients to have a breast self-exam once a month, especially in the shower or lying down. The best moment is after menstruation, because breasts are less, the specialist explains. She advises her patients to raise their hand above their head, use the other hand and, completely flat, try to press against the rib cage, rolling the breast and also check the lymph nodes.
