Goals of Primary Health Care
Christopher Irizarry, Vice President of Primary Health Care Services at Banyan Health Systems, says his goal is to expand the primary care services throughout the community. "What we realize as an organization is that we want to serve all aspects of the patient care, we can't just be limited to behavioral health or substance disorder. Primary care is such an important aspect of everything we do."
Some of the services they offer are psychiatric care, primary care services, substance abuse disorder counseling, peer support services, mobile crisis team, crisis stabilization unit, pharmacy, and research.
