Thyroid Cancer
Dr. Robert Udelsman, Chief of Endocrine Surgery with Miami Cancer Institute, affirms in the U.S. there are 54 thousands of new cases of thyroid cancer per year.
He also adds thyroid cancer isn’t common cancer, but in women it is the fifth most common cancer. Its incidence is increased dramatically not only in the U.S but worldwide.
The specialist says the death rate from thyroid cancer is absolutely flat.
