The Most Common Sleep Disorders

Insomnia, sleep apnea, periodic limb movements, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, hypersomnolence, parasomnia and circadian rhythm disorders are the most common sleep disorders. Dr. Jeremy Tabak, Medical Director of the Galloway Sleep Center with Baptist Health South Florida, also explains people who have those symptoms during the night can feel tired and uncomfortable during the day. The specialist affirms cardiovascular problems, blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and risk of strokes are associated with sleep abnormalities.
