Blood Pressure Affected By Alcohol
A study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests there are long term effects with binge drinking and heavy alcohol consumption related to high blood pressure.
Ian del Conde, Cardiovascular Specialist at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, says binge drinking is bad not only for the liver, which is probably the organ that is best known to be affected by alcohol but also by blood pressure.
"You can actually have a very high blood pressure on a Saturday morning if you were binge drinking on Friday, so that's something we should really avoid", he explains.
