What Is The I.T. Band Syndrome?

Psychiatrist Rachel Rohaidy and Psychotherapist Teresita Calero shared the difference between the tasks performed by a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist. Dr. Rohaidy explains that a psychiatrist is someone who "has gone to medical school, done residency, has in-depth knowledge of pharmacology and neurobiology, and holds the degree of MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)." On the other hand, Calero points out that a psychotherapist, as herself, is a person who has a master's level clinician, with a license. They say it is important to have an intermix between possible medication and therapy.
