Cardiac Rehab: Managing Medicines
Dr. Joshua Harris, Cardiologist and Medical Director for Cardiac Rehabilitation at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, says in cardiac rehab patients will get evaluated and treated and if there is an issue with their medications or blood pressure, they contact their physicians if it is anything significant or serious, such as having issues with blood pressure, sugar, or arrhythmias.
He points out cardiac rehab is for making sure they are on medications, which can be anti-platelet medicines, beta-blockers, ACE-inhibitors and statins.
