Signs of Hearing Loss
Having trouble hearing over the phone, trouble to follow conversations, asking people to repeat what they’re saying, need to turn up volume of TV, people can’t hear due to background noise and think others mumble are signs of hearing loss.
Dr. Peter Volsky, Otolaryngologist with Baptist Health South Florida, says volume is not the only problem, understanding is also a problem, because although you can hear people speaking to you, you are not able to understand what others are saying.
