Signs Of Sleep Deprivation
Dr. Jeremy Tabak, Medical Director of the Galloway Sleep Center with Baptist Health South Florida, explains when people might be sleep-deprived they’re tired in the morning when they wake up, they’ll have to use the alarm clock instead of waking up with their own natural rhythm and sometimes they get very sleepy in the afternoon, among others signs of sleep deprivation.
Dr. Tabak describes circadian rhythm is about natural biological rhythm over the 24-hour period and it is based on the light-dark cycle.
Jet lag also can affect the quality of sleep, he says.
