Symptoms Of Restless Legs Syndrome
Dr. David Seiden, Medical Director of the Pembroke Pines Sleep Center with Baptist Health South Florida, explains Restless Legs Syndrome is a clinical diagnosis with no specific test to make it. "In order to make the diagnosis, someone needs to be experiencing an unpleasant or uncomfortable feeling in their legs, generally at night, and always when they are relaxed, because movement or walking actually helps suppress those uncomfortable feelings that one may be having."
Some of the symptoms are moving legs for temporary relief by stretching, bending, rubbing legs, or getting up; worsening symptoms when lying down, and most discomfort late in day and at night.
