Breast Cancer Genes
Genes are a very tiny component of people's whole DNA structure,
explains Dr. Victor Guardiola, Medical Oncologist with Miami Cancer Institute.
He describes there are certain genes when having a mutation that
carries enough risk for breast cancer and some other malignancies to consider.
Dr. Guardiola also talks about double mastectomy before the event of cancer. He says that doctors have, as a job, to educate women and provide them with tools showing them, in most cases, if they need the double mastectomy.
