According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 1 in 8 women in the U.S. alone will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Without a known cure, the best thing to do is to stay informed. Important things to keep in mind are early signs of breast cancer, ways to prevent the disease, and knowing your own anatomy. Since there is no way to truly prevent the disease, early detection is key.
