The most commons burns at home, happen as accidents in the kitchen and in the bathroom. They can also happen when loose clothing catches on fire. Dr. Ricardo Castrellon, Medical Director of the Burn Center at South Miami Hospital lists the first steps people should take to stop the burn. He also talks about proper first aid methods to prevent infections, the “Dos” and the definitely the “Don’ts” when it comes to treating wounds.
