Tips for Healthy Skin

Washing your face every day, using an antiperspirant, determining your skin type, examining your skin, and protecting your skin are some tips for taking care of your skin. Dr. Ileana Perez-Quintairos, Dermatologist with Baptist Health South Florida, says if your skin is dry, wash your face once a day with a cleanser and use only lukewarm water the second time.

She also recommends that if your skin is oily or if you have been sweating, washing your skin a second time would be appropriate. She suggests using antiperspirants for people that have excessive sweating.
