Living Minute | Helping Children Lose Weight

Researchers working with obese children and parents had them try out one of three well-known diets for a year. They discovered the children lost a significant amount of weight and improved their blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels even though they only stuck with the diet 2/3’s of the time. The kids had an easier time sticking with the diet than the parents did, which underscores the importance of teaching healthy eating principles early on.
